This school is managed and run by the Mityana
Charity and is part of the "New Life" Project at Lwankuba (500 acre
farm.) Villagers at Lwankuba badly needed a school,
and the Bishop of Mityana asked one of the Charity Committee if she
would start one. He called it after her name in Uganda, "
Nabukenya Primary School" Bishop Dunstan Bukenya and Ann Potts
(Nabukenya)The founding of the school. The classes started under a mango tree and in a
little old church building, but now the third block of classrooms is
being built. (There is still no electricity, and water is brought
from a bore hole.) The children here get free education and a hope
they never had before. WILL YOU HELP THEM? We always need money for school equipment and
teachers' salaries, and every pound helps.
Could you help sponsor a teacher here for £400 p.a?
